The PSA Club Service Award is given to recognize the many major photographic service efforts made by its member clubs in communities world-wide. It was created in 2005 and is funded by the Society. The Ridgewood Camera Club of New Jersey was the recipient of the Club Award for 2009. The Ridgewood Camera Club contributes to the civic and cultural life of a number of New Jersey communities as well as the international community. Several of its members are teachers in a youth photography project. Members have presented lectures and exhibits at the Teaneck campus of Farleigh Dickinson University as well as to local groups of churches, women’s clubs, the YMCA and senior citizen groups. RCC thanks all of the members, present and past, who have dedicated their effort to make this prestigious award possible.
